What about my ‘home’ district or district of residence?

Students accepted through DOC do NOT need to be released from their district of
residence or home district.

How long does DOC last?

DOC lasts through the 2016-17 school year; we anticipate the California Legislature will review the program for extension in the very near future. Should the DOC program be renewed, students will be able to continue enrolling in WVUSD.

What if DOC ends?

WVUSD will communicate with all parents in the program on other means to enroll in our district.
