Fees and Fee Reductions
There are charges assessed by the College Board that are associated with the AP Exam, but reductions and subsidies are available for students with financial need. Click this link for the AP Exam Low-Income Student Verification form which contains the 2016 Annual Low-Income Levels (Link A).
AP Exam Fees
The fee for each AP exam is $93. Please read and sign the AP Exam Order Form Instruction and Contract (Link B) and complete the AP Exam Order Form (Link C) along with your check. Pay your exam fee (s) according to the dates & time stated on the Contract (Link B).
AP Exam Fees (Alternate Exams)
If your exam is in conflict with another exam, you may take an Alternate Exam during the late-testing period. An additional $45 per exam late-testing fee may apply. Fill out the AP Exam Order Form (Link C) along with your check and turn it into Ms Seargeant in Building A.
AP Fee Reductions
The College Board fee reduction per AP Exam is $31. Walnut High School subsidizes $47 per exam. Students eligible for reduced fee will pay $15. If you meet the qualifications, please complete the Low Income Student Verification form (Link A) and provide one of the four methods listed on the application to determine your eligibility. Submit the Low-Income Student Verification form (Link A) along with your AP Exam Order Form (Link C) and your check to Ms Seargeant in Building A by Friday, January 27, 2017 no later than 3:00pm. Incomplete forms may not be processed.
Refunds (Fees may apply)
If you have already paid for an AP Exam, and then decided not to take it, you may request a refund. Refund request must be in writing or in an email dated no later than March 17, 2017. Direct your refund request to Josefina Steinmetz or email her at email@example.com. You will be required to pay a restocking and administrative fee of $63 if requesting a refund after March 17, 2017.
