Hi Engl. 3 Classes:
During our long break from each other, here are some things you can do for review and enrichment.  These are OPTIONAL, NOT REQUIRED WORK.
  • Attached are readings from Reading Rhetorically to prepare you for college-level reading and  writing tasks.
  • Review materials about The Crucible and McCarthyism in our LINKS page.  There are articles and videos about Elia Kazan, Edward R. Murrow, Arthur Miller, etc. to help you deepen your grasp of the concepts relevant to your Finals.
  • READ about current events as much as possible to be well-informed citizens.  Subscribe to NY Times, LA Times or Washington Post newsletters.  You can read about COVID-19 for free (no pay wall) on reputable news sites.
