Assignment

Hi Everybody! On Wednesday 3/18 you should receive an email with instructions on where to access lots of practice, review, and enrichment activities for Honors Chemistry.  These resources will help you remember everything you've learned so far in class, going back to the beginning of the school year up to the topics we were covering when school was closed.  None of these activities are required and none affect your grade, but it will definitely be a good idea to spend some time on them since you will eventually be taking a Final Exam in this class and we won't have time to review much once we all come back to school.

Until you receive that email, I've attached some study guides to help you remember important stuff. These are not the same as your chapter Study Guides.  Please start working on them in number order.

Also, here's a link to some videos about Volcanoes - you will need to know this stuff for the California State test you'll take as juniors.  Life On Fire - Plate Tectonics and Volcanoes

I hope to see you all again soon, once this coronavirus situation is under control.  In the meantime, stay healthy, enjoy your time off, and feel free to email me with any questions you have.  [email protected]

Assignment

Hey Y'all,
***I HAVE ACTIVATED GOOGLE CLASSROOM for all my classes, and I will be posting assignments there.  I will continue to also post assignments here for the time being, but please start checking into Google Classroom regularly!***Flinn Science, the company that we buy all our lab supplies from, is now doing daily live lab demonstrations that you can watch online. The first one starts TODAY AT 10:55 AM - Log in at the link below and watch! TAKE NOTES - I'm assuming that after the teachers and administrators meet today we will be able to assign work to you for points, and if so, this will be worth points! (I have it marked as "ungraded" now, because at this moment we aren't allowed to give you graded assignments). Watch as many as you can over the next several days - each one is different. I don't know if the lab demo will be recorded and available to watch later, but I assume it will be. Enjoy!
