Summer practice French 1 going to French 2

Trying to keep up with your French over the summer?

French 1 students (going on to French 2) - a little practice each day will be helpful!

1. Listen to French music - things that we listened to this year, during Manie Musicale, or search up Musique Mercredi on YouTube for French teacher playlists.

2. Watch some cartoons on YouTube (suggestions: Trotro, Georges le curieux, Max et Ruby)

3. Watch some Alice Ayel videos on YouTube (subscribe and try to understand ) Alice Ayel

4. Read through your notes from the past school year, practice talking about what you did once a week.

5. Read through the old stories we read in class, or see the attached stories.

6. Watch some of the short films we watched in class and try to narrate the story like we did in class with vocabulary that you know.

7. Practice your numbers while you exercise this summer.

8. Practice with Duolingo - not the greatest because it is vocab out of context, but it's better than nothing.

9.Do anything from the original closure activities when schools closed in March 2020: link Closure resources by level

10. Try out some TV5 - https://apprendre.tv5monde.com/fr You would most likely be level A1.

Have a great summer! I hope you had a great first year in French.
