The Walnut Way has a special meaning that was created in 1968. It has a special meaning on our campus and our staff gives you an inside look into what is "The Walnut Way".

the Walnut way is doing what's best for kids and striving for excellence foraging supporting to me the Walnut way is family love each other we all laugh with each other we all support each other and we all become a great dates and walnut way is family it is knowing that you have a place to come to and you're supported the time for us to celebrate each other colleagues and learning from them and also making sure that our students have a well-rounded education and we get so caught up in our little world that are a little Pathways also that we don't forget about the big family picture of the school side like to think the one that way we more fam oriented as as us as one big group a happy family that can work together and and work with each other to make our students the best I can be about staff being here for kids stop being here for each other being supportive each other and just try to create a family atmosphere in which everybody can enjoy each other's company appreciate everybody's work he's got so many people in common and I think it's just that sense of community is where you feel safe coming every day they always put their best heart and soul into every day helping people succeed and setting them up for success and our failure and so that's been consistent throughout whether it's helping students and fellow faculty members the administration and teachers were all in it together and we really support one another and true our family everyone contributed to make Walnut a place where everyone feel like a rat holes teach our kids to be responsible productive citizens of society it's just humor and family to me that was the biggest part make sure we reach out to everybody and pushing ourselves to always grow that way we can help our kids be the best version of themselves not to be average and not to accept being average to continue to strive to be the very best we can be I think the Walnut way is actually moving forward tune to grow and change and adapt and continue to be a great place Walnut way has to do with encouraging the kids become better and better and so I think that's what we're trying to do around this campus is just make the school better and better each day coming together and remembering kids come first tell that we're working for them that we need to work together to make that purpose come true and then we need to support one another and just make this a great year by the way back home yeah we always find a way back home
