Assignment

I have compiled a list of terms, events, people that you should be familiar with. This list does have items that won't be on the final and there may be some questions that may not be on this list.

This is not a required assignment, although I will say that this is beneficial for you to review ESPECIALLY for next semester as we review for the AP test.  If you spend the time to review now, you won't need to review as much next semester, I guarantee it since you will have all of these graphic organizers at your disposal.

So take the list of terms, events, people and place them into the SPECTRUM LINE charts.  It's important to know their significance, however like I said it's just as important to know HOW THEY CONNECT to that time period.

Remember the 3 C's. Categorize, Connect, and Compare.

Hello AP Euro Students!

You are scheduled to pick up your textbook on Thursday August 9. I have attached some handouts that will allow you to get started on the Chapter 10 Study Guide and begin studying for the Europe Map Quiz. I have also included a Parent Letter to be read and signed by your parent/guardian. Please bring that to class on the first day of school (Aug 20). Print out the Cornell System for Note-taking as well. There is also a PowerPoint/Keynote attached on the Geography of Europe for you to review before the first week of school. You do not have to bring your textbook to class.

The information below is for Mr. Wood's class only, not for Mrs. Puzo's.

I will have you guys use Google Docs and Edmodo this year. If you have not signed up for a Gmail account, please do so here. http://www.gmail.com. Most of you probably don't have a Edmodo account, but please sign up for one here http://www.edmodo.com using your GMAIL ACCOUNT that I asked you to create. Please click "I'm a Student" for a student account. To join you must add our class' group code which is: i2ndceIf there are any questions or concerns about using Gmail/Edmodo we will discuss this the first week of school. Or email me [email protected]!

For the files I am referring to below, please look to the right hand side under the course description/teacher name, where I will make handouts/files available for you.

I have included the first PowerPoint/Keynote that we will go over. It is just the general outline where you can add in the details if you were to print it out/bring to class or bring your laptop.

Also there is a long Primary Sources Doc that I mentioned. You will need to download this print it out, and bring it to class. Putting your binders to good use! ;) You can hole punch it in class if you need to.
