Walnut Valley Alumni Endowment
As part of Walnut Valley Unified School District’s 50th Anniversary celebration, the Walnut Valley Endowment (WVE) was formed on February 20, 2020, and is approved as an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The goal of the Endowment is to solicit sources of funding to ensure that WVUSD will continue to provide students with high-quality programs and learning environments. Based on California’s Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), WVUSD is one of the lowest funded districts in California, receiving significantly less funding per pupil than neighboring districts.
The mission of the Walnut Valley Endowment is to support and maintain outstanding educational opportunities for WVUSD students. Your generous donation will allow WVUSD to maintain smaller class sizes and safe learning environments as well as retain cutting-edge and innovative programs that make it an elite California institution. To achieve this goal, we will solicit donations from local businesses and corporations, current and former District employees, high school alumni and Diamond Bar and Walnut residents.
