Please read these selections in preparation for the Civil War Era Exam. Identify 6 key ideas to reading. Work out answers to odd or even discussion questions.

The ch01 pdf is a worksheet to the American Pageant. Plan for 1 1/2 hours for completion. The discussion questions period 1 can be completed by reading of the text and other readings. As you read each document, take notes. Identify three to four observations or write a quick summary of each reading selection. I will quiz you on Wednesday on Chapter 1 American Pageant. Your written work is due on Thursday.
