AP/IB-SL Chemistry is a second-year, college-level chemistry course designed to prepare students to pass the AP Chemistry and the IB-SL Chemistry exams administered in May. Students are required to attend additional class time throughout the year -- first period meets at 7:15 AM each day except 2-4-6 block days, and sixth period students meet for "night lab" on Mondays from 4 PM to 6:15PM. There is no night lab during the first week or last week of school.
Judging from the extraordinary quality of the Honors Chemistry students from last year, this year's AP Chemistry classes should be absolutely phenomenal! I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and having a great time exploring the amazing world of Chemistry.
Test dates: AP Chemistry exam: Monday May 6th, 2013, in the morning
IB-SL Chemistry Exam: Thursday May 16th, in the afternoon (Papers 1 & 2); Friday May 17th in the morning (Paper 3)
