Additionally, compare each painting to the speech made by Gertrude on p.330-331 in the textbook. What details are similar and different to the speech? What does each painting suggest about Ophelia's emotional state, whether Ophelia's death is a mere accident or suicide?

Finally, share your opinions about which painting you prefer and why?
