This school year, Coach Khouzam sought out a grant that would help improve the facilities for our gym sports.  Thanks to the help of board member, Cindy Ruiz, a grant was offered to Walnut High School to help fulfill this wish.  On Saturday, August 24, Walnut High School teacher, Drew Johannsen, represented our school at the Aid to Humanity in LA hosted by Felix Y Manalo Foundation, Inc and Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ). Walnut High School received a $5,000 grant that will help create a team room/locker room for our boys basketball, girls basketball, and girls volleyball programs. Thank you Mr. Johannsen and Coach Khouz!
