On Friday, January 24, Athletic Director, Jerry Person, held a ring ceremony for our CIF Championship Wrestlers from last season. The rings came in this month and we wanted to honor our student-athletes for this amazing accomplishment.

The wrestlers honored today were:

• Kory Philips (Class of 2019)
• Nayeli Matson (Class of 2020)
• William Von Goeben (Class of 2019)
• Justine Barredo (Class of 2019)

Justine Barredo earned a National Championship last year in Virginia Beach. This wrestling accomplishment was the first time that has ever been done in Walnut's 51-year history. Thank you to our Head Coaches Cecil & Darrell Sebastian.
