Last night, the Walnut High School National Honor Society held its induction ceremony. Over 60 members were inducted as they made a commitment to uphold the four pillars of Character, Leadership, Service, and Scholarship.
The candlelight ceremony represents the symbol of a flaming torch of freedom & knowledge, reminding NHS members to bear forward the searching light of truth and to lead others to follow the light.
