Coach Lori Huckler Announces Retirement After 35 Legendary Years of Coaching

With a mix of celebration and bittersweet emotions, we announce the retirement of our Head Girls' Basketball Coach, Lori Huckler, after an illustrious coaching career spanning an impressive 35 years. From her beginnings as a softball coach in 1988, Coach Huckler's journey has been one of dedication, passion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
 
Coach Lori Huckler leaves a remarkable legacy, having coached an astounding 50 teams throughout her career. Her impact on the lives of countless young athletes extends far beyond the basketball court and softball field.
 
During her tenure as the head basketball coach and softball coach, Coach Huckler guided her teams to an incredible 27 league titles, a testament to her exceptional coaching insight and ability to cultivate winning programs. Her emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and hard work instilled a winning culture that will endure as a lasting legacy in our school's sporting history.
 
Under Coach Huckler's tutelage as our Head Girls' Basketball Coach, she racked up an astonishing 321 victories, a remarkable feat reflecting her unwavering commitment to excellence and developing her players' skills. Beyond the wins and losses, however, her lasting impact on her players' lives truly sets her apart. She has been a beacon of inspiration, guiding her athletes in their athletic pursuits and personal growth and character development.
 
As we bid farewell to Coach Lori Huckler, we honor her remarkable achievements, unyielding dedication, and her profound impact on our basketball program and the lives of those she has mentored. Her retirement marks the end of an era but also the beginning of a new chapter for our basketball program.
