Walnut High School is proud to celebrate Ms. Rebecca Chai for being named Walnut Valley Unified School District’s 2026 District Teacher of the Year, honored on April 2!

With 20 years of dedicated service at WHS, Ms. Chai currently teaches English Language Development (ELD), after previously serving as Publications adviser for 11 years before transitioning to ELD to deepen her impact with students.

Her passion for teaching and unwavering commitment to student success have left a lasting mark on students, colleagues, and the entire school community. This well-deserved recognition is a tremendous honor, and we look forward to cheering her on as she advances to the next level.
