Kari Pierce
Ms. Pierce begins her thirteenth year here at WHS and her twenty-eighth year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Prior to WHS, Ms. Pierce worked in Corona-Norco USD and then Chino Valley USD providing Speech and/or Language services to students in Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Ms. Pierce began her career working in various hospital, home health and private practice settings for five years before entering into Speech-Language Pathology in public schools. Ms. Pierce received her Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Cal State University Long Beach and her Masters of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Redlands. Ms. Pierce lives with her two teenage children and of course, one dog and two cats. In her free time, Ms. Pierce enjoys traveling in and outside of the United States, cooking (not baking) and watching her Kansas City Chiefs! She has enjoyed watching her Chiefs in California and in Kansas City, Missouri! |

Jessica Nguyen
Ms. Nguyen is beginning a new chapter in her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Walnut High School. Before coming to WHS, Ms. Nguyen was a SLP contracted under Summit Speech Pathology Services, working with preschool students on the Autism Spectrum and elementary school students. Ms. Nguyen received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA, went to Cal State Fullerton for a Post-Baccalaureate Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific. During her free time, she enjoys listening to music, playing computer games and board games, binge-watching TV shows, trying new coffee places, and spending time with loved ones. She loves stickers, cats, and coffee! If you have any coffee recommendations, she’d really appreciate it. |
