I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Education from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master's of Science degree in School Counseling from the University of La Verne. This is my 17th year as a GLC at Walnut High School and my 27th year in education. Before becoming a Counselor, I taught Physical Education for 10 years and coached varsity volleyball and softball at Diamond Ranch High School.

I have two children; a 23 year old son and an 21 year old daughter. I enjoy hiking, exercising, watching high school sports, listening to live music and just hanging out. The beach and the mountains are my most favorite places to be when I want to relax and enjoy the scenery. They are my happy place. 

Another interest of mine is traveling. I'm OBSSESED with it! I have been to over a dozen countries...19 to be exact, including a backpacking trip through Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji...ALONE!!!
My most recent trip I took was to Costa Rica for 9 days of adventure with my best friend. Next on my bucket list is Peru, Ireland or an African Safari.
