Access our enrollment application using the link provided above.
Using your mouse, click on "ENROLL A NEW STUDENT"
Click on "NEXT" in order to Login or Create an account with Parent/Guardian email
Follow all the steps to complete the enrollment procedure. Be sure to fill in all information.
The online enrollment application is not complete until you click on "Finish and Submit".
Once submitted, the Registrar's office will be notified. A confirmation email will be sent to the Parent/Guardian email within 1-3 business days.

** REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION **

ALL Documentation is required for all NEW Students Enrolling at WHS.

Once the documentation is submitted and residency has been verified , you will receive an email with your students new STUDENT ID number. Following that, Mrs. Shirley Markel, our Secretary, will email you the next steps for scheduling a registration appointment with one of our Grade Level Coordinators.

Parent/Legal Guardian required Documents

Monthly mortgage statement, close of escrow, OR current property tax bill OR
rental/lease agreement with your name and address reflected AND
A current utility bill (gas, water, electric) with your name and address reflected AND
California driver’s license or California ID card with current address

TRANSFERS within and outside of WVUSD boundaries

Residents OUTSIDE of WVUSD's boundaries will need to acquire an INTER-DISTRICT Permit from the District where you reside. Once you have obtained approval of release from your District, please submit the permit to our office along with the required documents.

WVUSD Residents interested in transferring to a WVUSD school other than their assigned school will need to submit an INTRA-DISTRICT Permit to their home school. The home school should forward the permit to your requested school on your behalf after they have made their determination. Please follow up with your HOME SCHOOL regarding the status of your transfer request. Intra-District Permit

WVUSD Residents interested in transferring to a school OUTSIDE of our district will be required to complete the INTER-DISTRICT Permit Transfer request form. Please submit completed form to Walnut High School for review. Inter-District Permit

Parent Employment ALLEN BILL A parent or guardian who is physically employed within the WVUSD school boundaries for a minimum of 10 hours per week can enroll their student through the Allen Bill transfer option. Parents or guardians can enroll their student(s) directly to WVUSD by completing an Allen Bill application, and providing verification of employment within our district boundaries (i.e. pay stub, verification of employment on business letterhead). District of Choice Walnut Valley Unified School District will have applications for non-residents available for the 2024-2025 District of Choice Program beginning October 2, 2024, through December 31, 2024.

Applications will be available on the WVUSD website, or pick up at the district office. You may drop off an application through the District Office mail slot located at the main entrance, or send by U.S. Mail to: WVUSD/PPS/DOC, 880 S. Lemon Avenue, Walnut, CA 91789. The District Office closes for winter break December 20, 2024, at noon and reopens on January 8, 2025. DOC applications MUST be postmarked on or before December 31, 2024.

WVUSD is unable to process DOC applications from students residing in the Azusa, Pomona, and Rowland Unified School Districts. For students residing in these districts, you may apply for by Allen Bill or Inter-District attendance permit to transfer to the WVUSD. Please inquire at your home district of residence.
